Château La Mission Haut-Brion Pessac-Léognan White Bordeaux Blend 2011

$725

The purity of fruit in this white is phenomenal. It's like looking through a thin, perfectly clear crystal. Aromas of sliced apples, lemons, fresh pineapples and lilacs. Full body but perfectly balanced between fruit and acidity. Mineral and intense. Lightly salty and bitter like a peach pit. Electrifying wine. Greatest white ever from here. It lasts for minutes on the palate... James Suckling

Supposedly not a great vintage. I say it’s more than fine by me. It’s drink soon for me.

This was the red, not the white as identified. Delectable not allowing me to edit to the red for some reason.
