Château Fonréaud Listrac-Médoc Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2015
...It has a clean and fresh raspberry coulis, cranberry and strawberry scented bouquet with cedar and tobacco scents interwoven. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannin, good depth, nicely structured but not unapproachable. It feels long and tender in the mouth with a crisp saline finish. Nose with black currant, leather, earth tobacco. Its nose shows a little bit of aging, this is odd. The palate shows an intense acid drive, a nice velvety mouthfeel, a bright black currant note all along, some caressing tannins in mid palate before a nice and long fruity finish with a tiny bitter twist. It went super well with a superb ribeye steak on the barbecue.
