2015 is a wonderful vintage for Chateau DÆEsclans. A seductive nose of white flowers, strawberry and melon with a classic Provence minerality. Terrific energy on the palate with a lingering floral note that leads to a long silky finish. Sokolin Tasting Panel

Disappointing in spite of all the hype. Flavors are very light and even though the alcohol is only stated as 13.5%, it comes across as a bit warm due to lack of intensity. Finish is short and made slightly attractive by noticeable spritz, but this will soon fade leading to less interest.

Loads of acid, but light on complexity and mouthfeel.

Gorgeous palest coral pink. Lively berries. I served with grilled shrimp with a balsamic glaze but finished the bottle on the patio. Need to get another.

Delightful stone fruit and cream soda on the nose. Nectarines, star fruit, lemon rind and a hint of rose water. Paired well with a beet pate

Very light, quite dry, a little zing with a fast finish. Rosė seemed like the thing for Easter ham and it worked well through the strawberry shortcake.

One of the nicest noses on a Rosé. Dry but not too dry, nice acidity. Heavy on raspberry, strawberry, and floral notes.
