...Bruno's 2010 Barbaresco Rabaja simply steals the show. Sheer aromatic generosity, so clear and sharp, bursts from the glass. Once your nose settles in, it is rewarded with a veritable parade of floral, spice and bright berry aromas. This unstoppable wine shows the highest levels of class and elegance... Young opulent, sexy and silky Barbaresco. Aromas of flint and hay waft from a glass of dark garnet, I get some black licorice (which I don't like in candy but love here), blackberry compote and roasted herbs. Warm velvety finish. This is a young beautiful queen from one of Piedmont's Royal vineyards. It's not top flight Barolo but it's damn close. Decant.

Leftover from Tour d'Italia at The Wine Club - Santa Clara. Young and full of potential. Tighter than the 2010 Copparossa.

Color has went to brown. Taste has went to 11. Drinking perfectly at first pour and got better through the night

crimson with brickening rim. Cherry, rose, cedar, spices (cloves?), a little liquorice and touch of bitter choccolate. High acidity and tannin still biting for this lovely barbaresco with perhaps not too long of a finish.

Amazing nose right off the bat. Took a couple hours to open up, but beautifully complex once it did. Dried herbs and dark fruit.
