Bouchard Père et Fils Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru Chardonnay 2010 (1500ml)

Very pure aromas of lemon peel, flowers and nutty, vanillin oak. At once juicy and supple, with terrific energy to leaven the wine's atypical richness. Very tactile, mouthfilling grand cru from a yield of just 30 hectoliters per hectare. Finishes stony and sweet, with outstanding breadth and length. Should age gracefully. 2010 vintage - closed at first, but exploded over 2-3 hours. Super expressive, rich, intense, loads of great acidity. Fell asleep with a quarter of the bottle uncorked on the table. Threw it back in the fridge the next morning, tried it the next night, and still singing. Seemingly bulletproof juice. Excellent.
