Booker Vineyard White Paso Robles Roussanne Blend 2016

$47.95

A candidate for the best white ever made from this estate, the 2016 White is a Rhone variety blend brought up in a mix of concrete tanks, neutral barrels and new French oak. It offers a terrific bouquet of buttered citrus, crushed rocks, orange peel and honeycomb. It has a steely, mineral, salty style, yet packs a punch with its full-bodied mouthfeel, beautiful concentration, vibrant acidity and a great finish. Count me as a fan, and while I love it today, I suspect it’s going to evolve gracefully. Jeb Dunnuck

A pleasant surprise. Have always enjoyed the Booker reds, and viewed this as simply a means to an end in procuring them - I was mistaken. A solid white blend for sure.

This is pretty good. Significant weight and presence on the palate without being heavy. A bit of a waxy texture with lots of flowers, white peaches, and some subtle spices.

Up there with Top Winery Roussanne, this is nice & viscous, a little bigger & thicker than the 15 If I recall correctly,
