Super dark ruby red and high intensity, coats the entire glass. Slight heat still on the nose. Only gave this one hour, could use three or more. Some light savory notes with some dark cherries coating everything. Some baking spices and dark dark cocoa too. Beautifully complex palate. Some minerality along side dark cherries and tight dark berries. Great backbone and structure from the acidity. Moderate plus tannins (7.5/10) and full bodied. Decent dryish in the long finish. Drink 2017 till 2036.

One of my favorite bottles (Addax Pinot) next to a Nickel & Nickel that I've found to be reliable the few times I've had it. In comparison to the Nickel & Nickel CC Ranch, this is more approachable at a young age. Cola, vanilla, and a slight hint of gooseberries on the tongue. This is worthy of at least an hour decant and after that, pour this like it's water. Excellent wine at this age.

In a good place showing a lot of primary fruit right now. A pleasure to drink but not a lot of complexity at this stage.

Drinking the 2013 in 2022. Deep dark dense ruby color. Very nice legs. Notes of cassis, burnt oak, and tobacco with a slight hint of ash. Very smooth. Wonderful finish. Well balanced from start to finish. Love this wine!

Deep ruby coloration. On the nose, blackberry, plum and florals. On the palate, cherry, plum, with a long finish of the same with hints of tea. Full body and rich mouthfeel. Medium tannins.

Love the light heat in the finish but not sure I see the star quality in this one.

Always a great wine. N&N never fails. Just a bit too many single vineyards for Jones...

Great inky dark purple cab from nickel & nickel. Smooth cab on a Thursday night. Feels like a decadent pizza night. Massive wine for a random day but ya know what, why not.
