Sexy and more expressive than expected from this vintage/at this age. Perfumed, leathery, taut. Minty, Chinatoesque notes on the finish, in a great way.

Very nice Barolo especially with a couple hour decant. I like the 2012s, and even though this is 14.5% - worryingly high - still a nice wine with little heat poking through. Classic pale nebbiolo color in the glass. Excellent lifted acids complete a generous palate with great light red fruit. Nice.

Nice lighter style Barolo. Quite pale in the glass. Subdued aromatics, but dried flowers and earth and tar come through for sure. Lighter on the palate as well. Good acid of course on the finish.

While my grade is 9.0 now, this offering will clearly improve with age. It has all the right moves, yet it’s yet to scale the heights.

A Barolo and a Pinot meet at a bar. Who wins? Who cares...they became friends and made this dandy of a combo! Thanks #kermitlynch
