18 year old. As this isn't a vintage Armagnac, it means that the youngest spirit in the blend is 18 years old, but the other spirits might be considerably older. Super impressive Armagnac. Pronounced concentration of aromas. Rancio, Xmas cake, sweet spice, earthy, prune and raisin, dark chocolate, caramel and vanilla essence from wood ageing. Fully matured. Almost off dry on the palate. Very textured and round - Cognac style. Not the normal edginess of Armagnac. Huge concentration, smooth alcohol - fully integrated. Full bodied. Rich and round. Long lingering finish. Huge complexity. Outstanding. The sort of drink you could easily have a half bottle of without blinking.
