Light golden in color. On the nose limes, citrus, light earth, green apples, herbs and minerals. Medium bodied with medium acidity. Crisp and refreshing. Dry on the palate with lemons, citrus, green apples, light grapefruits, bitter herbs, earth and vegetables. Medium finish with limes and bitter almonds. This is a very tasty Sémillon from Mendocino County in California. Fruit forward with nice acidity. Showing mild complexity, interesting and refreshing. This 4 year old is nicely balanced and good right out of the bottle. Good by itself or with food, and better when properly chilled. A good quality wine. Would be interesting to try it again in 3 to 5 years. Aged for 10 months in neutral French Oak barrels, on its lees. 13.1% alcohol by volume. 90 points. $32.
