Nose is mostly violets/red flowers atop some raspberry and cherry with a touch of anise and crushed gravel. Very pretty and inviting. Palate opens with red fruit and flowers followed with medium acidity and soft tannins finishing with some lingering floral flavors. Tannins add a touch of dustiness, but texture is pretty velvety overall. Nice, simple but pleasant Mencía. Nice with dijon mustard garlic encrusted pork tenderloin.
