Medium lemon color with aromas of stone and citrus fruits and sweet nutty notes, adding a leesy touch. On the palate flavors of apple, melon and pear with lemon citrus, vanilla and toasty oak, slight creamy texture. Medium+ finish, lively acidity, ending with fruit, nuts, toasty oak and savory lemon Chablis character.

The 2021 Chardonnay (Sta. Rita Hills) is terrific. Citrus confit, white flowers, almond, chamomile and dried herbs all run through this super-expressive Chardonnay. There's a touch of phenolic intensity, along with a kiss of reduction, that add character. Almost all of this fruit is now estate. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, September 2023)

Inoffensive. Nose: closed hints of oak ? As it opens hints of mineral. Palate: hints of lemon. Good elegant mineral. Good acidity. Some nice tartness as it opens. Just not much going on. Sort of flat and light. Oak lingers a bit. Short. Like pretty ok Village chablis with some oak. I think that people want this to be something that it’s not.

2021. I hadn’t tried any Sandhi wines yet and had settled on having a Pinot Noir at The Oven with dinner, but when we stopped into bin105 for a glass and saw this bottle in the cooler… crisp, floral, nutty, and a little reduction on the nose.
