A very warm year still strong after 16 years more masculine than the usual rayas. Still deep color a bit orange at the rim showing age. Smokey, kirsh, long long burn (more than a minute).3rd best year in the 2000s after 2005 and the legendary 2007.

Had it again in September 2012. Spectacular colour, ruby with hints of orange on the edges, fascinating brilliance. Thousands shades of scents. From wild berries to iron, savoury, minerally, juniper and so much more.... Wine that will last for a long haul, but it is already perfectly enjoyable. Superb palate. Super long with very unusual flavours.

Had it in March 2008. Super great. Full Dark fruit, black berry and plums, but with a bug acidic push. Fills your mouth and makes you feel like asking for more. Very minerally, liquorice and chestnut. We literally hadn't had the time to let it breath. So easy to drink.
