Diaphanous orange-pink. Bright and sharply focused on the nose, displaying red berry, nectarine and orange zest aromas, plus floral and mineral overtones. Fresh strawberry and blood orange flavors show very good depth and are braced by a sharpening jolt of juicy acidity. The floral note repeats on the lively finish, which lingers with very good tenacity. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, June 2021)

Wow this wine transforms rapidly! When first opening the bottle I’m hit with intense tropical fruit on the nose, almost like Bazooka Bubble Gum, (borderline offensive to my nose). Over the course of two hours it’s completely mellowed out and settled on a fresh pineapple aroma. The same can be said for the experience on the palate, at first I found it borderline one-dimensional, though with time the acidity did come though. I get lots of ripe tropical fruit here with a medium finish. I see why people like it but it’s not my speed, it has layers but the reward isn’t ultimately worth it.
