Young but rich. Quite extracted but lovely. Needs 10 more years to soften and integrate and show its depth, but the core is there! Like belt fruit with a trace of mint. Some earth tones as well. Holds up.

1.5 hour decant(some chunky/fine sediment). A remarkable dark ruby red color. On the nose: beautiful notes of dark plum, cassis, cedar, spice, truffles, creme brulee. Taste: elegant, rich, balanced, great mouthfeel wine with bing cherry, dark chocolate, spice, cedar, and a plumy black tea lingering long finish. YUM! Still a little primary, but starting to show off the terrific 05 vintage. So, if you have a few bottles, pop one.
