Booker Vineyard Oublié Red Rhone Blend 2012
Nikki Goddard, DWS
Bold, blackberry/bramble, mocha, fresh mint, blueberry pie. Extracted but balanced in terms of alcohol and tannin, with moderate acidity.

Drinks just like a Rhône actually. Light with a smooth body to it. Takes a more refined palate than mine probably but I like it.

Drinking great. Decanted for about an hour to let the heat blow off. Glad I found it at the back of the cellar

Interesting blend with counoise. Take the garrigue out of a Beaucastel and sweeten it up a little. Tannins still need to smooth and resolve, they aren't there yet. Not really my bag, baby.
