Quite some complexity has developed in the last one and a half year since my previous bottle. Delicious now but still upwards potential in the coming 1-3 years.

A lot better than the first bottle over a year ago, still can benefit from more cellar time. Beautiful garnet red color

Although the Clos Erasmus pedigree clearly shines through, this is nowhere ready for drinking as advertised by the grower. The tannins need more time, although I doubt if I would ever rate this in the 94-95 range. The palate is full of spices and wood (cedar and oak) but the acid/tannin component could be better balanced. Excellent QPR nevertheless.
