Very classic Albariño. Wouldn’t hesitate to put this in a blind tasting lineup. Loads of white flowers, citrus, white peach, and seashell on the nose. The palate is light to medium bodied with more of the same fruit notes plus lots of salty iodine flavors. Snappy acidity. A great wine for shellfish. Picked this up for $17 in Lebanon, NH.

Pale yellow. Fresh melon, white peach and tangerine aromas pick up a smoky mineral accent with aeration. Concentrated, spice- and mineral-tinged citrus and pit fruit and honeydew flavors tighten up steadily through the midpalate. Closes long and silky, with repeating peach and mineral nuances and a lingering floral nuance. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, June 2021)

Well aged Spanish Albariño. Medium gold color. Plush aromas of stone fruit, wet stones/shells and citrus. Flavors of peaches, nectarines, yellow apple, honey and white pepper. Touches of salinity and lanolin on the long and mouthwatering finish. Plenty of cleansing acidity and nice length. Bright and refreshing.
