Sipping Fine Wine Delectable Pro

A blend of 95% Tempranillo & 5% Graciano, aged in new oak for 2 years and in bottle for 3 years before release. Ruby and Youthful, with aromas of black fruits and complex spice notes. From hand harvested grapes from better plots in Rioja Alavesa, the palate shows black and red berry fruits, some stewed cherry, with developing flavors of cacao, cedar and toasty leather notes. Smooth yet powerful tannins very well structured, balanced acidity, ending with a long finish of fruit almost a bit creamy. Outstanding and will only get better in the bottle!

2021 winter. This bottle felt a bit more closed and angular than the many others I’ve had, but was still enjoyable - and you can never be sure how much was bottle variation as opposed to variation in mood, food, surroundings, and everything else.

2021 winter. Brambly berries, leafy undergrowth and cheesecake oak - it’s still coming together, but there’s already much to enjoy if traditional Rioja is your thing. (It is my thing.)

2020 fall. Similar to other recent bottles. Really nice wine for a fair price - I’ll be looking for some more
