The 2020 Etna Rosso is remarkably pretty, finessed and floral in style, with dusty rose and licorice-tinged cherry berry fruits forming its bouquet. It’s silky in texture with a pure mix of red fruits and subtle inner spice, all nicely motivated by brisk acidity. The 2020 leaves a saline and citrus-derived tension through the finale, along with a subtle coating of fine tannins that communicate refinement and poise. (Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2022)

The 2020 Etna Rosato lifts up wonderfully fresh and perfumed, offering notes of sweet peach and white smoke backed by honeyed florals and wedges of candied lime. It’s silky-smooth and round yet spry, washing nuances of ripe pear and nectarine across a core of saturating saline-minerality. There’s simply so much going on here for a Rosato as the 2020 punches well above its class, finishing incredibly long yet juicy, and fizzling out to hints of sour citrus and cheek-puckering green apple. (Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2021)

So fragrant & fresh. Dusty, crunchy cherries with an exotic whiff of rose petals & orange peel. There’s also a salty touch to it. So seductive. On the palate this is silky smooth, rather on the lighter side, with vibrant juicy cherry acidity and finely grained tannins. Good length and nice depth. Dangerously drinkable, too. A really lovely one from Etna.
