Nothing short of amazing. The nose gives this scent of alcohol, savory notes of stuffed bell peppers and crockpot roast, odd but true...I also get a hint of grilled grape jam. So light on the palate yet focused showing gobs of black juicy fruits and pencils ✏️ lead. Mid palate shows strong, more fruit than savory notes. Finish is a show stopper, loads of fruit-blackberries, smoke and goodness. Well over a minute finish.

‘12 vintage. Drinking beautifully. Prior notes of “grilled grape jam” absolutely apply. I kinda expected it to be bigger than it is, but I won’t go so far as to say it’s fading. I have, let’s say, such BIG expectations for Bevan wines that I sometimes expect it to be more flamboyant and opulent than it is or ever was.
