Medium ruby hue. Aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, cured meat, pepper, smoke, and tar. Medium body, plus acid, medium tannins. Rustic and earthy on the nose, while soft on the palate. Tannins are still sharp and not fully integrated. Well worth cellaring. 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Malbec, 15% Carmenere, 7% Petit Verdot.

3 hr decant. Certainly can sense the elegance here but the nose was shut down. Was expecting more cab to come through.
