Garnet with thin translucent pale pink rim. Medium, complex nose of strawberry, raspberry, cherry, marshmallow, vanilla, baking spice and cedar/mint. Light to medium body of cranberry, pomegranate and sour cherry bring clean acid to the palate with a baking spice, cinnamon, leather, and earth background. Small smooth tannins leads to a slightly dry finish of berry, pepper and cocoa. Very good balance and good structure make this a good value at $21.32 USD as a sipper or light dish partner.

Way better than I thought it would be. A little sweet but an excellent bottle for the money.

Raspberry, sour cherry, pomegranate at first. Some nice tobacco and earth. Pretty decent for such a young wine, once it had some air.

Sour tones upfront, but quickly leaves to present tobacco, leather, and ripe berries. On the darker side for a Pinot Noir, which is a welcomed change. For $17 at Costco, ya can't go wrong. Went well with pesto ravioli. The garlic from the pesto was a solid sidekick to this wine. Would prefer a cork over a screw cap, I find screw caps create a metallic finish, which this wine has.

This is wine is light body, alcohol is medium. I’m getting a strong prune and orange peel on the nose. I’m getting a lot of citric notes on the tongue, lemon zest, fresh flower and mild bitter aftertaste. This wine is a Pinot noir, this wine is from California, this wine is from Sonoma county! #mastersommelier
