Wow this is big. Awesome dark fruit, well structured tannins, good spice. Dark, dark wine, lots of time needed to open but we'll worth the wait.

Very, very dark ruby. Almost impenetrable, sexy color. Big nose initially shows all fruit, with blueberries, raspberries, and cherries. After some time, you’ll get the vanilla, chocolate, spice, and earth. Soft, round tannins with medium acidity. Though big and bold on the palate, there’s still plenty of finesse to be found. Olives, old cracked leather, plums, well integrated oak, and plums playfully tease your tongue. I was immensely surprised by the elegance of this. I expected a heavyweight bruiser but what I got was a velvet glove. This is a serious wine that still knows how to have some fun.

Nice nose, Rich red fruit. But falls apart a bit in the mouth. Some nice acidity but lacking interest.
