Trisaetum Ribbon Ridge Estate Dry Riesling 2015

9.12 ratings on Delectable
$26

This bottling is higher toned and more nervy at this stage, but with the same kind of impressive fruit extract and mouthfeel. Decanting at this stage is advisable, as there is significant stuffing in this 13% abv dry Riesling.

First Oregon Riesling. So pure and bracing; like lime juice sprayed over clean river stones. There's sone underripe stone fruit and diesel character going on too in the background as well. Total laser beam of acid, it's so nimble but it's got medium body and some nice texture to boot. It has the tiniest bit of of perceptible RS to balance the crazy acid (which would honestly almost be too much without it and I'm saying that as someone who craves acid) that shows up a tiny on the midpalate but it honestly finishes in a way that feels totally dry. Reminds me a bit of a solid Rheingau. Great stuff and I'm looking forward to exploring more Oregon Riesling!
