Wine Spectator 91 Points! This '12 Strandline bottling is absolutely stuffed, but also has the structure to help keep that big, dark fruit in balance. Decant this now, or wait a bit for what will certainly be impressive results. This wine was awarded a Wine Spectator 91 Points, with these notes: "Fresh and vital, this is crisp in texture, brimming with ripe blackberry, cherry and cocoa flavors on a taut, lean frame. Shows persistence but needs time to soften the texture."

Red fruits, baking spices, eucalyptus, mineral undertones, soft tannins and balanced acid. A subtle salinity on the palate which I like.

This wine was served at Beast, one of the better restaurants in Portland. Paired with fennel-brined pork loin and sherry-maple glazed carrots. Stellar pairing.

Very interesting, unique Pinot. Good acidity, dark fruit, nice balance. Kind of a funky nose.

Big dark fruit. Smoky and a long finish. Great mouthfeel and not a lightweight.

Fairly simplistic in character with muted depth. Showed an alcoholic mouthfeel. Will benefit from extended breathing.
