Medium ruby red with some violet hues. Dark spices and fruits on the nose with a touch of earthiness and anise. Moderate tannins (6/10) and medium bodied. Layered on the palate with bramble berries, a touch savory, dark gravel and not overly jammy. A little bit of black pepper and packs it in mid palate. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2022.

Tasted Blind also at 9am. "Really Good zinfandel" The wine was not showing much but American oak for the first 10 minutes. Nailed the varietal eventually, acid was tricky and I think there is slight RS. Kept saying "this feels old world but the American oak and ripeness is bizarre". Lighter red fruit, not dark and heavy or anise and it has great acid. Way too young. Every Bedrock wine is great, you can't miss.

Fruit forward, dark juicy berries, peppery, smooth, building tannins.

Deep black fruit and spice. Earthy core with great balance and dusty tannin.

Smells like what you'd expect of Zinfandel. Cooked/preserved red fruit. However, it's not super jammy on the palate. Black fruit. Decent acid.
