Aberrant Cellars Carpe Noctem Pinot Noir 2012

Robert Parker 93 Points! His notes: "The 2012 Pinot Noir Carpe Noctem is an individual barrel selection in terms of weight, texture and intensity." "...Deeper in color than the Virtus Ex, it has quite an intense bouquet with a light marine influence upon the dark plum and raspberry coulis scents. The palate is medium-bodied with supple and harmonious tannin, smooth in the mouth with no rough edges, it gradually builds with a peacock's tail of dark plum, mulberry and hints of dried blood. You could actually broach this now, but I would suggest allowing 12 to 24 months in bottle."

Nice texture but a little on the "full" side. Interesting producer though.
