100% Garnacha from a few different plots on primarily granitic sand. 80% from 70-100 yr. vines in Cebreros and 20% from a single vineyard of 70 yr. vines at over 3000 ft in San Bartolome de Pinares. Everything is destemmed and vinified separately. From native Cebreros son Ruben Diaz, this a fresh, generous and delicious entry to the region.

We shall see whether the pale #garnacha from #cebreros and #gredos shall continue in popularity? It’s nice and I would suggest drinking it slightly chilled, but I feel like these wines are muted and will not evolve well for bottle aging due to lack of tannins and anthocyanins and 15% alcohol. Meanwhile drink up drink Hardee yo ho!
