The Ornellaia rep brought this from her cellar and it was the clear star of the night. Much more open for business than I would have expected. Rich, extracted wine with impressive length. Sage, fennel, expresso notes. Will likely shut down at some point but really sexy right now.

Impenetrabile color rubino, quasi sangue. Intenso al naso con sentori verdi subito poi frutta a bacca rossa : more , prugne secche , ciliegie morello frutto maturo e composta. Tabacco dolce , porcino fresco. L'entrata in bocca si avvia morbida , appagante, poi un'ondata di freschezza che equilibra il sorso, tannino ben presente ma non acerbo, stuzzica e promette lungo tempo. Chiusura lunga e preziosa. Vorresti non finisse mai. Anche se giovane se ne apprezza lo spessore e la meritata fama.
