To me this is second only to chateau Beru Chablis. Super oily texture and a little oxidation but super crunchy mineral and a wide range of citrus, stone, and orchard fruits. Perfect acidity that lifts and carries it all the way through.

I’d label this more “interesting” than “good”. I like a nice volcanic Canary Islands white as much as anyone, but this lacked some acid and depth and body for me. Still ultimately a nice wine.

I can’t exactly place all the flavors, but there’s a lot going on here. At first almost uncomfortably bitter, but it evolved in the glass for some pleasant acidity, lemon and bitter almond. Beautiful texture. This is a thinking wine.

Briny, hot desert petrol flare, intense crystalline minerality. Enchantingly well matched with xl crispy gulf shrimp from the pan and a glug of o’steen’s datil pepper sauce. As with past vintages, this wine is rather wound up upon release, and I’d be curious to check in in a few years….
