Domaine Moreau-Naudet Chablis Chardonnay 2018 (1500ml)

$90

Domaine Moreau-Naudet has been a keystone Chablis producer here at Manhattan Wine Company in recent years. The wines are exactly what we look for when a Chablis craving sets in; zesty, mineral, and refreshing with layers of flavor and complexity to spare. Like so many properties we follow, the farming here is organic and the wine making tends to be straight forward relying on native yeasts a patient elevage in barrel. The AOC Chablis is aged partially in steel and partially in oak with some new barrels in the mix.

Very nice. Ripe but nice snappy acidity. Lemony.

Fuller bodied and maybe a little less saline than I would expect from Chablis, but very tasty nonetheless. Lemon, mineral, a little beeswax.

Just what I want from Chablis, crisp chard flav featuring creamy lemon peal.

Pale yellow with a green tinge of color. Fresh grassy bouquet- smooth after just 5 mins of air. A touch creamy at first- green apple & pear and maybe a touch of grapefruit as it has some citrus on the finish. Pretty good wine- Missed this at a previous The Infatuation/Parcelle Virtual Wine School during COVID closures.
