Domaine de Roche-Guillon Clos De La Tour Fleurie Gamay 2012

9.02 ratings on Delectable
$23

This is gateway Gamay for Burgundy lovers. Great fruit and freshness and such a pleasing wine to gulp down in large quantities. This will go nicely with just about anything but particularly fine for Turkey day festivities. It would work as cocktail wine as there's not a hard edge to be found, but there's more than enough complexity to appeal to a more contemplative crowd.

Cru Beaujolais this delicious is impossible not to love. Plus it's really versatile with a lot of food.

Absolutely beautiful floral aromatics, intense and pure. Spring flowers, lavender, and rose petals. Citrus and red berry on the palate with some good stone minerality, but a little thin. Finishes with more acid than a Dead show... they could change the name to Jerry Garcia's Flower Shop.
