Lives up to its reputation. Just starting to open up (even after three hours in the decanter)

Rich verging on waxy but outstanding length and balance. Nice intro to this gem of a producer!

Took a little while to come out but it certainly shows more on the nose than the '06. Not the most focused on the palate, but still enjoyable.

This has to be the apogee of this here grape. Unlucky for this bottle, then, that it was served next to 02 Raveneau

Wow. Totally mistook this for high end white burgundy blind. Sexy tarry oak frames lively fruit.

I have never had the white before. A very layered and complex wine. On the nose and palate one gets fruit but it is dominated by apricot. Some Chenin lanolin there but I would not call this Chenin if I was tasting blind. IMO the wood contributes weight not flavor. Seemed like it had years to go. A unique wine.
