Nearly California but tips into Bordeaux. Great fruit but still showing serious tannin. Great now with food but will continue to improve.

Showing really well for the vintage, still has some intense fruit behind it, but taking on some great development all the same.

Finally this '00 is starting to give back, had it about 8 months ago & it was all primary fruit/oak-driven intensity, it's starting to show that great dark plum character mixed with dried black tea & dustiness, this ones going to improve for the next 10-15 years.

Unbelievable concentration of dark fruit, cassis and black berries. A subtle hint of brett, damp forest floor, spicy nutmeg and dark chocolate notes. Truffle and dried tarragon followed by a burnt, toasty vanilla oakiness. Beyond exceptional.
