Cork got pushed in while organizing my wine in the new house, so figured I'd crack it. Smells way over the hill and completely undrinkable at this point, but I will post an update shortly.

Amazingly, this is not only still wine -- it's impressive with black raisin fruit and a balanced mouthfeel. It's clearly old but proof that great wines are made every year (regardless of what Mother Nature brings)

The cork was crumbly and dark red on the exterior. We were worried! The nose: bark and broccoli the color: dark ebony w a rim of blood red...at first acidic, the wine opened up quickly: tingling, awake, robust even if not overpowering.
