Charles from Champagne Louis Roederer was kind enough to bring this over and we enjoyed it with some Kelly's Katch caviar. It takes about 16 years for Cristal to come around, and this was showing wonderfully. It had nutty depth and incredibly long, chalky detail!

Un nez très discret et amusant qui "pinote" entre parfum de rose et de cassis avec beaucoup de gourmandise et les agréables notes de citron apporter par le chardonnay de l'assemblage, qui, à l'évolution deviens un arômes pâtissier très noble de tarte au citron meringuée ! La bouche elle, effervescence légère (3/4bar) aurait peut être était plus "festive" avec une acidité un peu plus marquer. Les maîtres mots de cette bouche seront donc : suavité, rondeur, fleurs d'été. Un champagne de gastronomie, INTERDIT à l'apéritif !
