The Clos de Beze is often described as being the feminine alter ego of Chambertin. It has the elegance and the finesse of Gevrey-Chambertin. It is a complex and tannic wine, deep in colour and long in the mouth. The aromatic palette is very rich and delicate with a strong presence of red fruits and oriental spices.

Tres jeune! But fun to taste now. Great nose.

Deep, dark and rich on the nose with a beguiling mix of savory, sweet, and soil. Crushed red fruit, stone, moist soil, and savory herbs on the nose. Focused, youthfully taut on the palate, and gorgeously long on the finish.

Really pretty especially for the vintage, deeper richer rounder than Damoy version. Impressive stuff actually drinking well now, how will it show in 10 yrs?
