Got a taste from my favorite bartender. Deep red with dark fruit aromas with usual Malbec. On the palate blackberry fruit with heavy big powerful cedar oak and spice. Big tannins, medium length ending with plenty of spice. Just ok for price.

Paul Hobbs’ Hans is evident in this good value Malbec. Dark, fruity, a little glycerol. Not out of the park, but great value for a sub $20 Malbec!

Love it, everything a Malbec should be. Velvety mouth feel, beautiful color and hints of blackberry currant with fruity overtones. Not overly complex but kind of in a good way. Would choose it over most Malbecs on the shelf at the price point

For $14 this Malbec is just drinkable. Harsh tannic flavor. Rough with an acidic finish. Nose is harsh as well, with an overwhelming pepper aroma. The question is whether the low price justifies buying a bad wine overall.
