Old world charm… dusty, organic nose with highlights of mushroom, clay, hazelnut, and blackcherry. Non-fruit dominates the nose. A kiss of VA is there too. Lively mouthfeel carried by the acidity. Tannins and warmth of the vintage emerge on the finish but stay balanced. Cherry pie, baking spice, orange zest, and a little vanilla bean. Great length. A favorite winery of mine in Tuscany which seems to always deliver.
