Long time i wanted to taste... Quite happy and not disappointed! Bigger than I thought, and rounder, but still total burgundian style. Am just sad we couldn’t help finishing it... would have like to taste tomorrow!

Comprised of grapes sourced from seven vineyards throughout the Willamette Valley, 35% of which is from the winery's own Bishop Creek Vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA—the 2015 Nicolas Jay Pinot Noir strikes a balance between power and elegance. More red fruited than black, the nose is perfumed with rose hips, underbrush, damp soil, and crushed stone. Texturally, I love what the acid does in this wine, as it builds and crescendos, fanning out towards a finish of nuanced white pepper and mineral splendor. 13.0% ABV | Sample

Nose has...not sure, this weather has my sinuses stuffed up, but my wife assures she's getting little on the nose. Palate has ripe red cherry, dry soil, (light) ripe blackberry, medium tannins and light barrel influence. Too young tonight, I had a feeling this might not be ready, and I was correct. Quite closed up on the nose and palate, this is either drink on release ('15 vintage) or wait it out likely 6-8 years.

Aromatic full of ripe cherry and cranberry on the nose. Light to medium ruby color. Fruity with hint of smoke and oaky on the palate. Very fine tannin. Low in acidity and a wonderful lingering finish. Well worth the money spent.

Nice Pinot Noir. Medium body, dry, some acidity. Strawberries and raspberries are most notable.

Not yet released-polished, Christmas spice and candied cherry nose. Laced with sweet blueberry and light toast. Sensual wine at outset but tannins build. Restrained now, but expect it to sharpen and broaden in the next 6 months

The Willamette valley partnership. Great pinot, floral, hints of spice and cherry, very polished with great balance. Good to go but will hold its own in a cellar for at the very least another 7 years or so.

A spectacular wine. Recommended by the saleswoman at Wine House to accompany our Wagyu beef. Rich but not overwhelming.

Just an amazing Pinot noir. Bought it off of Wine Access due to an Instagram video. The nose is amazing and the finish is even better.
