Full disclosure- François and I are working on a new California Rhône-style blend together. This is most consistently my favorite Côte Rôtie. It blends the meaty/game with fresh raspberry and blueberry cola notes. I drink this fairly often and love it more each time.

Very Syrah like in terms of aromatics, flowery with violets, pepper and dark fruit too. Palate follows suit, medium bodied with integrated tannins but delicious pure fruit, fresness and elegance. Length is somewhat average though. 91-92 Nez assez Syrah avec ces notes de fleurs, violettes et poivre, du fruit noir aussi. Bouche sur le même registre, fraîche, élégante avec une belle pureté de fruits. De corps moyen avec des tannins assez intégrés, petite ombre au tableau, une longueur moyenne. 91-92

Soft, velvety blackberry liqueur, game, and meat. Everything you want from a Cote-Rotie. Well-made. It’s young - needs time - will be even better in 5 years. My bottle was in a partially shut-down phase but opened after 2 hours. The soft mouthfeel on this wine is especially notable. 2015 vintage on March 15, 2019
