Pale lemon with aromas of fresh tropical fruit, citrus and flinty notes. On the palate crisp peach, honeydew melon and lemon citrus flavors with a touch of herb floral spice. Well balanced with vivid acidity and wet stone on the long finish.

Paired with truffled mushroom risotto and scallops which shaped the taste for me. On the nose: Honey dew melon, Standing hay or hay bales. A crisp mix of fresh grass, lemon grass and cantaloupe on the tongue. Finishing with a lingering lemon zest. Refreshing and an improvement over our usual choices of Savignon Blanc.

Cheers to all on this beautiful Memorial Day (especially our Service men and women)!! I have a weakness for New Zealand sauvignon Blancs by the pool on hot +90 degree day...and this did not disappoint! Pale yellow color. On the nose: grass, grapefruit, pineapple. Taste: pineapple, little minerally, lemon peel, good acidity but not as crisp as usual....Yum, nice start.
