Sipping Fine Wine
Found another ‘17. Dark Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruit and floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry, plum and currants with complex spice showing notes of cacao, cinnamon and rich vanilla oak. Graceful soft tannins, nice mouthfeel, great balance with acidity, long finish, ending with notes of oak, smoke and mineral notes. Nice!

This Napa Valley Cabernet is always enjoyable. Full bodied, big and bold, with lots of chocolate notes, cedar vanilla, mocha, coffee, earth, coke and black pepper Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up and shows some tannins. Long finish with firm tannins and tangy cherries. Good now and will be better in the next 5 to 20 years. 14.8% alcohol by volume. 93 points. $80.

Classically big, juicy, fruit-dense, and powerful—smooth tannin structure—not much secondary and tertiary notes—loving Caymus is, as always, a question of your palate

Bought this 3L signed bottle (thanks Chuck) at a charity auction. Popped it open for friends. Obviously young but it’s Caymus so it’s created to be drunk. And it was. And now excuse me but 3L means Advil and early to bed.
