Superbly balanced and textured. The wine opened up quickly after uncorking. So very rich and satisfyingly full. This one is on a whole other level. I know this is my favorite Cabernet Sauvignon of all I have tried. In my mind this is the benchmark against which all others Napa cabs are measured. Tread lightly as we are rapidly approaching wine snob territory after this one. June 2019: Had to revisit again for my birthday celebration. The 2016 vintage upholds the rich and lofty tradition. I will bump up the rating by a point. I would rate this a 10 but will preserve hope that I will one day meet its match.
