This is a Vega Sicilia. Character. Defined aroma. Balanced flavors, almost rounded: sour, sweet, bitter. Plums? Once shallowed remains, slowly fading, inviting remembrances, of enjoyed moments and drinks with friends. Worth repeat.

Bouquet of cinnamon, anise, fig, and worn leather commingled herb-scented red and dark cherry. Rich yet gentle palate with silky texture. Soft elegant tannins coats the mouth like wearing baby cashmere. This is a bit more advanced than I thought it would be at 10 years - not a complain. 100% Tempranillo, 2012 is the first vintage without Merlot.
