This is one of the great Lafites! From a wonderful and flamboyant vintage this shows incredible aging potential. Tasted at the chateau out-of-the-barrel in the spring of 2010. I'll also add I a big fan of Lafite, though not in love with its pricing- it's a Bordeaux classified growth problem, nevertheless, a super wine! #bordeaux #lafite #ultrapremiumwines

Served at a lunch w Chinese food. Clearly too young but incredibly smooth and deep. Unfortunately, most of the first bottle was slugged down in small shots. I slowed everyone down after I saw what we were drinking.
