High toned and very tangy nose. Little herbal and a hint of citrus. Palate is lush and accessible with pretty and vibrant red fruits. Nice high acidity and really really fresh. Long finish. Perfect hit of rusticity as well.

Last time I had this around 1.5-2 years ago it was brutally closed. On my recent trip to France I had the regular 08 and it was glorious. Was time for a revisit. Nose is very promising with leafy earth tones, dried flowers, spice, menthol and mint and distinct aged aromas finally coming through. Really nice aromas. Wow, amazing what time does. Elegant and juicy with delicious red fruits and terrific fine powder like tannins. What balance and poise. This has transformed remarkably. It is the wine I remember now tasting it years ago in Thierry's cellar bask in 2012.

2012 is so good here. Rustic charm. Deep cherry, mineral, herbs, grass, sour cherry, palate is rustic, chewy, mineral, charming. Lovely.

Gorgeous perfume. Light cherry, sour cherry, spice and mineral. Such freshness and energy to the nose. Palate is crunchy and just perfectly ripe with lovely resolving, sweet, rocky tannins. Juicy and so so fresh. Showing so well. Great wine.

Classic Irancy nose. Mid season cherry, tweed jacket, earthy and mineral. Hint of licorice. Woodsy. Very fragrant. Palate has wonderful earthy sweetness. Ripe and elegant but substantial tannins. Juicy and very energetic. Wonderful wine.
