Did have structure and beautiful on the nose, however missing mid palate depth and length.

Winemakers dinner with Ornellaia. Will certainly go into my 9.0+ scoring after some additional cellaring. Still somewhat closed

Preferred this much more than the super Tuscan Ornellaia.

Quite dark, a little heady. Doesn’t particularly convey a sense of place, and quite international, but well done. Keep a few more years.

Violet ruby center , pink rim and large tears . Lots of ripe black plum and cherry fruit. Fruit forward touch of spice . Pretty powerful on the palate , essence of black cherry, plum , touch of liquorice. There is also a touch of mineral and grafite , also , going back to this after a while In the glass. Fine big ripe tannins on finish , nice length , balanced acidity , touch of alcohol on the end . Too young at the moment , needs food really. An enjoyable wine no the less , and will have some 5 years of development ,at least ,ahead I would imagine .
