A full throttle powerhouse, coarsing with volcanic minerals and dark, plummy fruit. A bit of heat, but holds its weight well. Lovely nose of dried fall bouquet, sweet basil, clove and dusty plums. Plenty of tannin and acidity, built for the next 15 years. A testament to taurasi.

Mango said lots of fruit. Dan said musty. I agree with both. Plums resting in your grandfathers attic and throw in some cloves and cinnamon and make it a beautiful autumn day.

Leather, pig skin , ripe cassis and plum pickled in grappa, licorice, incense, good deep dark notes of fruit cake spices n fruit, big but satiny enveloping tannins, lengthy and balanced, impenetrably rich, polished in a rich classy way.
